(Luxury world cruises) Disneyland Paris - Relax and Have Fun in France
No commentsBy Fred Ramsbottom
Disneyland is one of the best places in the whole world to relax, enjoy, and spend some quality time with your friends and family.
Life has become so busy that one hardly finds time for one’s friends and family. So once in a while one should squeeze some time out of one’s busy schedule to spend with their family. And when it comes to enjoyment and relaxation, there is no better place in the entire world than Disneyland.
From personal experience it can be said that a visit to Disneyland on weekends (or the day either side of a weekend) is quite hectic, and not as enjoyable as it could be on any other day.
The reason is that on these days most people take holidays and choose Disneyland for enjoyment, so the place can get a little crowded. Hence, if you are not a people person and don’t want to spend countless hours waiting in line to get service or on a ride, then you’re better off avoiding a visit on weekends.
The best approach to get the most out of your visit to Disneyland, is to hire a tour guide who will lead you through the different attractions.
One might have to wait a little while to enjoy the rides (as they are over crowded) but in the end, considering the enjoyment and fun factor of these rides, I would say they are worth the time spent waiting. Some of the best and most popular attractions of the theme park are Space Mountain, Peter Pan, Big Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones, Buzz Lightyear and the Legend of the Lion King Show.
It is advisable to get a FastPass ticket (which can be obtained by showing your daily passport at the counter, and are sold at the reception desk along with a map of Disneyland) and to avoid long queues, one should check the waiting time for different attractions which are listed at the information point - and plan a schedule accordingly. Other attractions include the Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups, It’s a Small World, Casey Junior and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Disneyland owns some resort hotels. The Disneyland Paris hotels are within the Walt Disney World Resort. This place has become the most popular place for tourists on earth.
The parade is one of the most enjoyable attractions in Disneyland, and begins at about 3 p.m. It starts from the entrance of “It’s a Small World” and continues all the way up to “Mainstreet Railway Station”. There are seven hotels in Disneyland, boasting a total of 5,800 rooms, so there is plenty of accommodation; however it does get a little over crowded in the holiday season so one should book rooms in advance if one is planning to spend some time relaxing at these hotels.
The restaurants are exquisite, their service and food is off the chart - but to avoid the peak hour diners, it is advisable to make reservations as soon as possible to circumvent frustration in finding a place to sit (or waiting to get some service). Some of the best restaurants, such as the Blue Lagoon, Steak House and Walt’s, are the ones that are the most crowded - and why shouldn’t they be? After all, they are the best there is to dining.
The Electrical Parade, which starts at about 10 p.m. is one of the most favoured attractions for the children. Similar is the case with the fireworks that start right after the parade. Disney Village is the best place to stay if one likes shopping at night, as the shops remain open till late. To cut a long story short, Disneyland is an awesome place to spend some time with the ones we love. There are tons of things to do in Disneyland, and the experience is beyond words.
Still, I can’t say everything about Disneyland here, so you have to go online and find some other interesting facts for yourself.
